Drive On In To The 2022 Grand Old 4th Car Show

As of Tuesday, April 26, 2022, the application process is now officially open to all potential exhibitors for the 2022 edition of the Grand Old 4th Car Show here on Bainbridge Island.

There’s always an eclectic mix of classics, rods, foreign, motorcycles, military and oddball. Cars and trucks in any condition (1988 or older preferred). Show is on Bjune Drive in the parking lots behind Columbia Bank and Chase Bank. (See map below for directions)

Cars are viewed by the public from around 8:00am to 2:00pm, though some cars happily remain onsite long after that. Feel free to leave yours on display all day while enjoying all the festivities (The Car Show is happening within an all-day celebration in downtown Winslow which includes the Street Fair (with arts-crafts, food, and live music), Main Street Parade, BYS Fun Run, Beer Garden, and Kids Zone.

Car Show judging is in 6 friendly categories, and includes a People’s Choice Award as chosen by the visiting public. Our amazing one-of-a-kind-custom-welded art trophies are back again (courtesy of Dick, Aaron and Jim Strom of Modern Collision Rebuild & Service) and will be presented at noon.

Car show entrants should arrive between 7:00am and 8:30am (After 8:30, please be flexible due to foot races and crowds forming).

We are very excited to be able to announce the return of this beloved community event this year, and want to assure you that we will follow all guidance regarding events during the current pandemic to do all that we can make sure that the Car Show happens safely and in the public’s best interests.
