Bainbridge Islanders value green and open spaces, and the 25 local parks and two state parks are much loved and much used.

The Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District maintains and operates nearly 1400 acres of developed and undeveloped parkland on Bainbridge Island.
They also offer a wide variety of activities that thousands of residents of all ages participate in each year.
