Kitsap Digital Hour: Dig Deeper into New Business Recovery Funding

Are you managing to keep up with the new business grant opportunities, and stay on top of all the most recent changes to the existing programs? If you are not, or not sure, then the March edition of Kitsap Digital Hour is for you, happening online this Thursday, March 4 at 11am.

The virtual session will focus on all recovery funding programs, based around a presentation from Kitsap Small Business Development Center Counselor, Jaime Forsyth.

Ms Forsyth will provide detailed information about the recently announced COVID recovery funding announced by the SBA – eased PPP restrictions, Shuttered Venue grants and updates on the EIDL/EIDG loan programs. She will also address new grant opportunities from WA State, Kitsap County and local municipalities.

This is a great free opportunity to get your questions answered!

America’s SBDC is a nationwide business advisory network, in partnership with the federal Small Business Administration. In Kitsap County, the SBDC is hosted by Western Washington University, in conjunction with its headquarters SBDC in Bellingham. Local funding is provided by Kitsap Bank, Kitsap Credit Union, First Federal, and the City of Poulsbo. In-kind services are provided by Kitsap Regional Library. The Kitsap SBDC works collaboratively as part of the Washington SBDC network.

All Certified Business Advisors are MBAs, current or former business owners, and have a wide range of expertise. All client information is completely confidential. They provide business consulting services free of charge for qualified businesses: for-profit going concerns that have fewer than 500 employees (and no direct or indirect involvement with the marijuana industry).

The Kitsap Digital Hour is a free monthly series hosted by the Kitsap Economic Development Alliance as one of its many efforts to help local businesses during the pandemic.
