Event Recap: Chamber After Hours at HomeStreet Bank – January 2024

Kicking off the Bainbridge Chamber’s 2024 season of After Hours, a capacity crowd of 50+ members filled the island’s branch of HomeStreet Bank on Thursday January 25.

The event was held in celebratory atmosphere, one that marked 10 years of business on Bainbridge from HomeStreet, as well as the announcement to business and community leaders that HomeStreet was merging with FirstSun/Sunflower Bank to create a new organization with combined assets of $17 billion.

Guests enjoyed delicious bites from Bainbridge Thai, and sipped complementary beverages from event sponsors Eleven Winery (returning from 2023), and Bainbridge Brewing (new for 2024).

Before the crowd, Branch Manager Doug Leonard detailed the big news, while Senior Loan Officer Ryan Maxwell shared stories from the Bainbridge branch’s first decade on the island.

Thanks to HomeStreet for a wonderful night, and a generous gift bag for all the attendees – we are hearing that the cocktail book in particular was a big hit in many island homes…
